Bosanski is a language-learning app made by 312 IT Consulting, based in the United States. By using Bosanski on the web or on iOS you agree to these terms. We've kept them short and plain on purpose.
Bosanski teaches the Bosnian language through lessons, games, speech practice, and AI conversation with Nana, our virtual Bosnian grandmother. Nana is an AI character: she is warm and usually right, but like any AI she can make mistakes. Content availability may change as the course grows.
You can browse and learn anonymously. Some features (friends, family plans, subscriptions, syncing across devices) require an account. Keep your login to yourself; you're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 13 to create an account.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel anytime: on the web through the billing portal (Manage subscription in the app, handled by Stripe), or on iOS through your App Store subscription settings. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the period you paid for ends. Prices are in US dollars and may change with notice; a change never applies retroactively to a period you already paid for.

The lessons, exercises, recorded Nana voice, artwork, and app itself belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use them inside the app. What you say in speaking exercises stays yours: your voice recordings are processed for scoring and never stored (see the Privacy Policy). If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve Bosanski without obligation to you.
Bosanski is a language-learning aid. We built it on techniques supported by published learning research, and where the app cites numbers, they come from that published research about learning techniques in general, not from measurements of Bosanski itself. We don't guarantee any particular outcome: how far you get depends on your practice, and your nana's patience.
Bosanski is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it available and correct, but we can't promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited.
You can stop using Bosanski anytime, and you can delete your account in the app (Profile, "Delete account"), which takes effect immediately. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms; if we ever discontinue the service, we'll give reasonable notice to active subscribers.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Illinois.
